- What insights have you gained about research from taking this course?
This course is one of the best ones i have taken yet at Walden i really enjoyed the learning process i learned how to think more thoroughly of things and account for different factors that might effect any study or topic in consideration.
- In what ways have your ideas about the nature of doing research changed?
My thoughts on how to conduct research had become more particulate more analytic going beyond the obvious in to analyzing and looking at the topic in consideration with more that a general view, the course teaches to critically think of the way one would conduct and propose the idea of the research.
- What lessons about planning, designing, and conducting research in early childhood did you learn?
It is important in planning, designing , and conducting research to count fro the different variables that might effect the out come in order to reach a valid result that can be replicated and validated by other researcher in order to add to the existing literature to be a new finding by it self.
- What were some of the challenges you encountered—and in what ways did you meet them?
Some of the challenges that i have encounter but over come is the ability to form the research question and develop a research hypothesis, the other aspect was to be able to differentiate between the different types of research and which is the one appropriate fro what topic.
- What are some of the ways your perceptions of an early childhood professional have been modified as a result of this course?
Early child professionals must be open to any situation factors that might might effect the out come of any study they are interested in additionally research that involves children must have the highest ethical considerations in order to ensure the safety of children and if the research represent any danger to children it is not worth researching as it is my personal belief.
